AND RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP CARDS
System used for the decentralisation
of the offces that issue memership
cards
Busweb TpL is equpiped with a tool
that allows the issue of membership
cards, discount cards, and employee
cards etc.
The card details are stored in the
central database where you can also
find the card holders personal information,
card details, expiry date, card number,
relise date and the univocal number.
Normally a centralised retail outlet,
equipped with a special printer,
is responsable for the issue of any
type of membership cards, however,
by using the Busweb software, any
retail outlet in ownership of a computer
linked to the main server, is able
to print the cards and the special
printer is no longer required.
Each retail outlet can, through an
internet connection, enter the details
for a new membership card; for a
renewal of a membership the operator
can carry out a search using the
data already available in the database
(the search can be carried out by
membership number, name and surname,
card type). At the conclusion of
the process a temporary 'memership
card' will be printed to confirm
the operation, the card will be momentarily
printed on the same paper utilised
for the ticket.
The data will then be registered
on the main server and the office
equipped with the special printer
will proceed with the printing of
the permanent laminated card; the
card can be posted to the cardholder
home address or, it can be picked
up from the retailer where the request
was made. On delivery of the new
card the temporary card needs to
be returned.
