ADMINISTRATION OF PRE-PAID
TICKETS
A logistic module that administers
the life-cycle process of a ticket,
from the creation of the ticket
through to the distribution to
the ticket retail outlet.

With Busweb you can administer
the logistical process of ticket
assigment to a retail outlet through
the distribution to the customer.
This module will allow you to
monitor the loading of the tickets
in the company stock through to
the issue of commission's invoices
which will be checked by authorised
staff and recorded as part of
the book-keeping.
This module has been developed
to have a clear view of the life-cycle
of a ticket, from the initial
printing to the sale.
The starting point for the stock
flow of prepaid tickets is the
delivery of the batch of printed
tickets that has been ordered
by the carrier.
The loading of the company stock
coincides with the uploading of
the reserves of the distributors,
The discharge of the stock takes
place together with the charging
of the "wallet" of the
ticket distributors, who deliver
a first consignment of pre-printed
tickets as a deposit account to
the retail sales outlets (retail
stock charging - distributors'
wallet discharging).
On a regular basis the distributors
will visit each retail outlets
to restock their ticket supply
(the retail outlets personal information
is available on the database),
in order to always keep a constant
level of stock. The distributor
will register the operation on
the GPRS mobile and print the
delivery notice through the bluetooth
printer; through the GP System,
connected to the central server,
possible to see the movements
between stocks (company stock,
distribution stock etc.). In this
way, the company ticket stock,
the distributor's "wallet"
and the retail sales are always
updated at a central level. This
mechanism allows to know in real
time to whom is assigned every
single ticket.
At every restocking the retail
outlet will collect the amount
of money owed to him by the bus
carrier for the tickets sold.
In case of ticket fare changes,
the stock will be revalued, i.e.
the the old tickets will be replaced
with new ones with the same number
but with a higher fare, thus increasing
the monetary value of the stock.
